Continuous Protection

Stop New Exposures Before They Spread

Daily monitoring. Automatic remediation.

We watch your FCC filings continuously. When something gets published that shouldn't be public, we fix it immediately.

Why Monitoring Matters

Every new product certification is another opportunity for exposure. Test labs change, staff turns over, processes get skipped.

The FCC publishes new filings continuously. Mirror sites scrape and re-publish within hours. By the time you find out, your documents may have been public for weeks.

Monitoring catches new exposure within 24 hours, before it spreads.

How It Works

We check FCC databases daily. When something appears that shouldn't be public, we act.

Daily Scans

We query the FCC database every day using your Grantee Code(s). New filings and changes to existing filings are checked automatically.

Immediate Alerts

When we detect exposure, you get an email with details: what was published, when, and a direct link.

Automatic Remediation

We start the takedown process the same day we detect exposure. No waiting for approval. We file immediately and coordinate with mirror sites.

Coverage

Monitoring covers your complete FCC filing portfolio.

Coverage AreaWhat We Watch
Primary FCC DatabaseNew certifications, modifications, transfers
Document TypesSchematics, BOMs, block diagrams, internal photos, test reports
Third-Party SitesMajor aggregators that mirror FCC content
Historical FilingsChanges or republication of previously protected documents

Monitoring covers all FCC IDs associated with your Grantee Code(s). As you certify new products, they're automatically included. No need to update your subscription.

What Happens When We Detect Exposure

1

Detection

Hour 0

Our daily scan identifies a newly published document that should be protected. This could be a new certification, a modification, or an FCC processing error.

2

Notification

Hour 0-4

You receive an email with complete details: FCC ID, document type, publication timestamp, and direct links. The email includes our assessment of exposure severity.

3

Remediation Initiation

Hour 4-24

Unless you instruct us to hold, we begin the takedown process. We draft and submit the confidentiality request to the FCC and send removal notices to third-party aggregators.

4

Removal Verification

Day 30-60

FCC processes the request. Once approved, we verify removal across all monitored databases and aggregators. You receive confirmation.

5

Quarterly Reporting

Ongoing

Every quarter, you receive a summary report: scans performed, exposures detected, remediation status, and overall portfolio health. Suitable for internal compliance reporting.

When Monitoring Makes Sense

Monitoring is designed for companies that certify products regularly and want to prevent repeat exposure incidents. It's especially relevant if you:

  • Certify 3 or more new products per year
  • Work with multiple test labs
  • Operate in sensitive industries (medical devices, defense, industrial)
  • Need compliance documentation for internal audits
  • Have already completed a takedown and want ongoing protection

Not sure? We can review your certification history and recommend whether monitoring makes sense for your situation.

Common Questions

What if I want to approve each remediation before you file?

You can configure your monitoring to "notify only" mode. We'll alert you to exposure but wait for your approval before initiating remediation. This adds delay but gives you control over each filing.

How does remediation work with monitoring?

Depending on your plan, remediations may be included or billed separately. We'll explain your options when we provide your quote.

Can I add monitoring after completing a takedown?

Yes, this is the most common path. Companies fix existing exposure first, then add monitoring to prevent recurrence. We'll credit any recent takedown work toward your first year of monitoring.

What happens if you detect exposure but can't remediate it?

In rare cases, the FCC may deny a confidentiality request. If this happens, we notify you immediately and work with you to revise and resubmit.

How quickly do you detect new FCC publications?

We scan daily. New filings are typically detected within 24 hours of FCC publication. By detecting exposure at the FCC source first, we can begin remediation before content fully propagates to mirror sites.
